The Rotticorso is a hybrid dog breed that results from crossing a Rottweiler and a Cane Corso. This large and muscular breed typically inherits a blocky head shape and a powerful, stocky build from its parent breeds. Rotticorsos are known for being intelligent, loyal guardians that are affectionate with their families but can be reserved around strangers, requiring early socialization. With their high energy levels, Rotticorsos need plenty of exercise and firm, consistent training from an experienced owner to manage their protective instincts. While loving companions, their imposing size and strength mean Rotticorsos are not suitable for all households.

Alaska is home to some of the great natural wonders of the world, and thanks to its dog-friendly culture, you can experience many of them together with your dog! Hike the trails at the Far North Bicentennial Park in Anchorage, or the Tongass National Forest in Juneau. Your dog will also love spending an afternoon at Connor’s Bog Dog Park in Anchorage, or at the Lake Lucille Dog Park in Wasilla. If you haven’t brought your own dog with you on an Alaskan holiday, look into special hiking (or sledding) excursions with cold-weather Huskies!
